The delineation program targeted a drilling grid spacing between 15 and 30m. Three (3) underground rig are deployed to execute both downward and upward boreholes with a maximum length of approximately 160m. Maintaining high-productivity and deliver on time was crucial for the initiation of the production in Olympias mine.

Project Challenge

Hard constraints for this project was set due to the planned initiation of the production phase in the newly re-opened Olympias mine.

RESULTS

Several drilled areas resulted in verification of old findings, underground stope design and a robust LoM plan. We successfully drilled and delivered several hundreds of boreholes to the planning team of the Client.
